Do you trust politicians?

The following blog was written as an email to a friend who sent me a note about a politician asking him for more money and asking my thoughts...

I hate all politicians with a passion.  They are all pandering political whores who would sell us out (and have) for their next campaign contribution.

I view both the repubs and dems as two sides of the same coin - owned and paid for by the globalists who control the agenda and the world.

We are given false choices and the parties have minor differences when you compare with what really matters – the welfare of the people of the country.

What have both sides done to help Americans?

They have both sold us out through so-called ‘free trade’, they have destroyed the manufacturing base eliminating 10’s of millions of formerly solid middle class jobs.

They have both allowed and promoted the invasion of the country by illegal aliens who have taken the low end jobs formerly held by the working poor.

They have both allowed the wholesale import of specialty visa workers which has had the effect of destroying what was left of the upper middle class jobs.

They have both continued and increased legal immigration to over 1 million people a year to take the few remaining jobs not picked over by the illegals, Indians and Chinese H-1B, L-1 and other visa workers.

The globalists and their political whores who spread their legs for the drippings of gravy from their masters tables want the destruction of the middle class and to drag us down to third world status.

They fight against unions, union wages and all protections for workers and dumb down the classroom by teaching to the lowest common denominator instead of the brightest students.  And then complain when our students don’t do well and clamor for more foreign workers.  They want an uneducated electorate that is easier to control.

In short politicians are against us and the US in general.  George Carlin was correct: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsL6mKxtOlQ

I wouldn’t give a dime to either side.  Now if we ever had a populist political candidate who gave a crap about American’s and wasn’t sucking at the teat of the globalists I might throw some money their way.

The last ones I recall were in the 1896 presidential race.  They had it right over 100 years ago.  ‘Free Trade’ destroys the country and its people and protectionism or balanced trade agreements help support the country and its people.

The 1896 election was before the political parties switched and Republicans were populists who gave a shit about us and the Democrats were for big business and free trade.  Not much of a difference now since they have both espoused ‘free trade’.

Death panels my a*&

I read on another site some guy talking about the 'death panels' of Obamacare.

Seriously folks - what do you think we have now with for profit insurance companies running the show?

How many hundreds of thousands of people are denied coverage each year because most everything requires pre-approval these days? How many of those people - and not all of them at the end of their life - end up dying fighting their insurance company to cover their illness.

Had a cut on your leg 15 years ago that required stitches and you didn't disclose it? Your policy will be cancelled and good luck paying for your own chemotherapy.

There are story after story of insurance company 'death panels' chosing profit over patient care and denying coverage and especially evil are those company panels that meet after a patient is found to have an expensive condition to find a way to retroactively deny them coverage.

Think I am joking about the stitches?

Anytime anyone mentions a 'Democrat death panel' I have to laugh and then get real mad because the corporate rapists known as insurance companies have perfected the art of reducing sick people to costs that need to be avoided.

If the insurers didn't pay off politicians like the big banks do we would have had a single-payer national health care system years ago.

That is the most efficient way to run things as most of the rest of the civilized world has figured out.

But I guess if you like the idea of hundreds of insurance companies consuming huge amounts of our GDP to further line the pockets of the already uber-wealthy there isn't much anyone could say to convince you otherwise.

I am mad as hell and not going to take it anymore...

I am mad as hell and not going to take it anymore...

Do you feel like that some days?  I am especially upset now that the election cycle is in full force.

I am sick of politicians acting as if they cared for the middle class in the US.  Anyone who thinks 'their' candidate cares about them needs to have their head examined.

Politicians are narcissists who care only about power, money and prestige.  Thinking that they care about us little people is crazy talk.

It has been widely acknowledged that a strong middle class made America great for most of the 20th century.

So what have politicians done to help the middle class over the last 40+ years?

Wages of the middle class are down, upward mobility is a quaint notion, most people's retirement accounts are in 401k's which the economic collapse of 2008 pretty much wiped out, inflation makes everything cost so much more compared with prior decades, college is increasingly out of reach for most Americans, poverty and homelessness are up.

Illegal aliens campaign in the streets for rights afforded to no American, crime is up, people are working 60+ hour weeks afraid for their jobs.  What few jobs there are have crap pay.  Employers are using the economic collapse and huge number of people out of work to beat down employees looking for cost of living adjustments.

And what does Washington do?  They are fiddling while Rome burns.  The most disconnected group of hominids this country has ever seen doesn't want to fix any problem at all.  But they are good at posturing.

I am an engineer by trade and love creating things and fixing problems.

The problems of the US has are begging for solutions.  Most aren't that hard if you are creative.

Take unemployment in the US for example.

Remember just a short time ago when we had essentially full employment?  If you wanted to work there were multiple places competing for your skills.  Not anymore.  Companies only want the least expensive employees so they hire illegals, kids on 'special' work visas from other countries or Americans as a last resort.

We could have full employment in the US again in 90 days.  We could turn the economy around and generate a surplus in government revenues, reduce the debt and make people happy.

It is actually very simple but no politician would do it since they like arguing over who caused the problem instead of fixing it.

Here is my 3 step plan to fix for the economy:

1) Implement mandatory E-Verify for all employees in the US.  Companies have 30 days to comply.  Nobody gets a pass - it is mandatory.  Non-compliant employees (illegal aliens) have 30 days to leave the country.  Employers found to have illegal aliens working for them will receive a $25,000 fine per month for each illegal alien employee still working there after 30 days.

2) Immediately cancel all 'special' work visas.  H-1B, L-1 and other visa soup holders have 30 days to leave the country.  Take your working spouses on other visas and anchor baby spawn with you.  Any company still employing a 'special' visa worker after 30 days will receive a $25,000 fine per month for each 'special' visa employee still working there after 30 days.

3) Halt all legal immigration.  The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 opened the floodgates and we now let in more than 1 million legal residents a year who are allowed to work and compete for jobs that Americans WILL do if given a chance.  This includes a halt to the diversity lottery and all family reunification immigration as well.  No 'disaster' immigrants or 'persecuted' immigrants...no immigration allowed period.

Within 60 days employers will need to re-hire Americans to take the jobs of 10+ million illegal aliens and another 5 to 10 million visa holders.

Jobs in everything from construction to IT will be available to Americans again and within 90 days the government will be taking in tax dollars from these workers and no longer paying out unemployment/welfare.

Bingo - full employment again in the US.  Economic problem solved.

Will some folks be upset?  You betcha!  But those will mainly be the corporate entities that benefited from insanely cheap labor and will have to deal with the new reality of a strong middle class.

Once we hit full employment folks will be able to pay down their debt and buy things again.  That will create a virtuous cycle of consumer spending that will lead to even more employment.

What politician has the balls to propose something good for America?

I am betting none of them since they are all bought and paid for by corporate America.

But soon you may see a populist rise from the ashes of the US - the country that globalists are hell-bent on destroying.

If I had the financial backing I would gladly step into the role to help our country and give hope to the coming generations.

Anyway - I am tired and heading to bed.  In future blogs I will continue to talk about my 3-point plan and why it is the right thing at the right time for America.
