I am mad as hell and not going to take it anymore...
Do you feel like that some days? I am especially upset now that the election cycle is in full force.
I am sick of politicians acting as if they cared for the middle class in the US. Anyone who thinks 'their' candidate cares about them needs to have their head examined.
Politicians are narcissists who care only about power, money and prestige. Thinking that they care about us little people is crazy talk.
It has been widely acknowledged that a strong middle class made America great for most of the 20th century.
So what have politicians done to help the middle class over the last 40+ years?
Wages of the middle class are down, upward mobility is a quaint notion, most people's retirement accounts are in 401k's which the economic collapse of 2008 pretty much wiped out, inflation makes everything cost so much more compared with prior decades, college is increasingly out of reach for most Americans, poverty and homelessness are up.
Illegal aliens campaign in the streets for rights afforded to no American, crime is up, people are working 60+ hour weeks afraid for their jobs. What few jobs there are have crap pay. Employers are using the economic collapse and huge number of people out of work to beat down employees looking for cost of living adjustments.
And what does Washington do? They are fiddling while Rome burns. The most disconnected group of hominids this country has ever seen doesn't want to fix any problem at all. But they are good at posturing.
I am an engineer by trade and love creating things and fixing problems.
The problems of the US has are begging for solutions. Most aren't that hard if you are creative.
Take unemployment in the US for example.
Remember just a short time ago when we had essentially full employment? If you wanted to work there were multiple places competing for your skills. Not anymore. Companies only want the least expensive employees so they hire illegals, kids on 'special' work visas from other countries or Americans as a last resort.
We could have full employment in the US again in 90 days. We could turn the economy around and generate a surplus in government revenues, reduce the debt and make people happy.
It is actually very simple but no politician would do it since they like arguing over who caused the problem instead of fixing it.
Here is my 3 step plan to fix for the economy:
1) Implement mandatory E-Verify for all employees in the US. Companies have 30 days to comply. Nobody gets a pass - it is mandatory. Non-compliant employees (illegal aliens) have 30 days to leave the country. Employers found to have illegal aliens working for them will receive a $25,000 fine per month for each illegal alien employee still working there after 30 days.
2) Immediately cancel all 'special' work visas. H-1B, L-1 and other visa soup holders have 30 days to leave the country. Take your working spouses on other visas and anchor baby spawn with you. Any company still employing a 'special' visa worker after 30 days will receive a $25,000 fine per month for each 'special' visa employee still working there after 30 days.
3) Halt all legal immigration. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 opened the floodgates and we now let in more than 1 million legal residents a year who are allowed to work and compete for jobs that Americans WILL do if given a chance. This includes a halt to the diversity lottery and all family reunification immigration as well. No 'disaster' immigrants or 'persecuted' immigrants...no immigration allowed period.
Within 60 days employers will need to re-hire Americans to take the jobs of 10+ million illegal aliens and another 5 to 10 million visa holders.
Jobs in everything from construction to IT will be available to Americans again and within 90 days the government will be taking in tax dollars from these workers and no longer paying out unemployment/welfare.
Bingo - full employment again in the US. Economic problem solved.
Will some folks be upset? You betcha! But those will mainly be the corporate entities that benefited from insanely cheap labor and will have to deal with the new reality of a strong middle class.
Once we hit full employment folks will be able to pay down their debt and buy things again. That will create a virtuous cycle of consumer spending that will lead to even more employment.
What politician has the balls to propose something good for America?
I am betting none of them since they are all bought and paid for by corporate America.
But soon you may see a populist rise from the ashes of the US - the country that globalists are hell-bent on destroying.
If I had the financial backing I would gladly step into the role to help our country and give hope to the coming generations.
Anyway - I am tired and heading to bed. In future blogs I will continue to talk about my 3-point plan and why it is the right thing at the right time for America.
